Are you a Staff Software Engineer with strong backend experience in Python? Are you looking for a chance to be in a hands-on technical role and lead the charge of the team?

They are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join their London Office and work with a very high calibre team. In this role, you would be at the forefront of crafting microservices and distributed systems. Not only will you contribute directly to code, but also champion best practices and be a leader in the team through technical challenges.

What you would ideally have:

• Degree from top UK universities in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Maths, Physics, Engineering)
• 7+ years of backend engineering experience
• 3+ years of technical leadership experience and/or managing teams
• Strong Python programming experience
• Strong experience with Terraform, Docker, AWS
• Strong experience in microservices architecture, systems architecture, working with multiple backend systems, continuous integration
• A passion for pushing boundaries in technology
• Great problem-solving abilities
• Excellent time management and communication skills
